would you like to vote in another general election in 2019 well, our country is in such a mess, what difference would it make, the labour party can't decide, and lib dems well, something has to clearly change, the current politicians are more career minded than thinking of our country...it angers me to see my country suffering as it is today, homelessness, food banks, poverty etc.
conservatives are cruel, and don't care about the British people!
let me know what you think, i'm only interested! | |

| Sometime I wish we could just up and turn over our gov't when we see fit.
We need a way out of this two-party system.
I like the idea of a bunch of different parties, and they have to work together to get a majority vote on something. |

| Theresa May called a General Election in 2017 because she thought it would work in her favour, she'd increase her majority and she'd be able to steamroller Brexit through without any opposition.
Wrong. Big error.
Majority wiped out, had to use £1 billion of taxpayers money as a bribe to buy DUP votes to keep herself in office. Brexit has become a clusterfeck of epic proportions, May is utterly disgraced and the extreme right have taken a grip on her party that is now dragging the country in a very dangerous direction.
I agree with Jaynes... the Tories are the Nasty Party. Cruel and heartless beyond description and so utterly callous towards the poor and unemployed they are beneath contempt.
The trouble is, only the Prime Minister can request the Queen to dissolve Parliament and bring about a GE. And May won't do that when there is the slightest means by which she can cling to power.
The Tory Party, at this time, would be utterly wiped out and as that is where her loyalty lies.... not to the British people..... she will do what preserves her party above all other interests.
The Tories will do what they always do. Cling on to power and in the last couple of years before an election is forced by their term coming to an end, they'll bang out a couple of giveaway budgets, cut taxes and get Middle England onside enough to scrape through again.
Labour are a rabble, led by an ideological zealot who never saw a spending plan he didn't like.... which gives the Tories ammunition to shoot at him by telling the country that a Labour government would be a financial disaster for the country..
As if the country isn't suffering the biggest disaster in its history right now... but they'll overlook that and blame any adverse effects of Brexit on the EU. They'll get away with that because it would be a lie that Brexiters want to listen to.
I've been a Green voter for many years now. We only have one MP at Westminster (which is one more than UKIP ever had), but Caroline Lucas punches well above her weight and is highly respected.
Some people tell me that a vote for the Greens is a wasted vote. Perhaps it is, but it's MY vote to waste. At least I can sleep at night knowing I haven't inflicted either Labour or the Tories on the country. |

I thought the horn of a unicorn came from the forehead, not the nose/snout.
... which is why unicorns don't wear hats.

You’re right, but these are British unicorns, and we all know that everyone there wears bowler hats. |
