Exile really ought to be a choice save a rare rare rare set of circumcisions.

I think Napoleon Dynamite was sent to an island and then he swam back to shore or something. Him and Tom Cruise! Judas Priest short people.

I'm American-can. American can cuz he mixes is with love and I ain't leaving.

You'll have to pry my nationality off my cold dead knees and toes knees and toes.

But people always say "If such and such gets elected, I'm gettin a one-way ticket to random place."

Not I said the cow. But that's just me.

Please reply back in the spaces below and share your thoughts and feelings about what it would take for you to leave forever and ever the country you call home.

Are you on something? Your rambling barely makes sense, but at least I understood the last paragraph enough to answer.

As long as I have a secure job and am set up for a decent retirement, both of which I have, I see no reason not to keep my current San Diego residence as my home base until I die. I do have an itch to travel though, and may spend considerable time abroad for that reason once I retire. If the US destroys itself though, then going back to to the countries of my European heritage wouldn’t be a bad option. It would take some getting used to, but I’d manage.

Under What Conditions Are You Expatriating...leave forever and ever the country you call home.

Hmmm...forever...

1. I suppose I my expatriate if the Government wanted to lock me up in a jail forever for my political views or some other random reason, particularly if this imprisonment seemed to involve torture and possible slow painful death.

Of course I would probably become some sort of underground insurgent or make a lot of money to fund an underground insurgency... the hope being to overthrow the evil government that wanted to torture and imprison me and come back some day.

2. A devastating nuclear war that resulted in the massive destruction and radiating of North America to the point of uninhabitability would probably result in me leaving.
