After an increasingly fractious carriage dispute went past the contract deadline, 33 Tribune Broadcasting TV stations in 24 markets have gone dark on Charter Spectrum cable systems, affecting some 6 million viewers

Apparently I lost some stations on Jan 2nd

this nonsense is cover up, because att bought time/warner last year. att gave charter half million of dollars free of profits to for their merging. when tribune is force them to paid more, lost their free profits to increases the cable fees. charter was going charges more their fees this year anyway. tribute has give the green light to destroyed them dealing with cable.

abc, nbc, and cbs will want the same deal like tribute stabbed charter with. character will be force to apply not only paid fees to tribune. in the future, charter will find out the hard way, don't play with big boys. the big boys will tell charter shove up their butts. no primetime channels, no cabal channels, and premium channels like hbo anymore.

other words, cable has been over 20 years. big boys said as long we have dishtv and directtv. charter, your threats doesn't mean nothing to us. goodbye and good luck!

I've started re-evaluating cable vs streaming options. But my cable provider is also my internet provider, and with Net Neutrality in murky waters, who knows what direction that could take.

att is my internet provider and my cable is charter. I set up a character account last year, I can watch fox and the cw for free. netflex, amazon, and hulu has better shows on their lines than cable and regular tv shows for last three years.
