I know the movie Sophie's Choice but it is strange because it seems they are all looking around for a certain name. What name might that be?

This is very driven by mood but those that have stood the test of time are The Killers, Pink Floyd, Kings Of Leon, Sia and my new favourite First Aid Kit

at what stage? they have faced lots changes we talking early Genesis with Banks, Collins, Rutherford or we talking later with Banks and Rutherford? to me Collins made that band in so many ways, i'm not denying other people's contributions but Phil was a driving force

My first lp was "And then There Were Three" which was just after Peter left the band. The only album that sucked was "Calling All Stations" which did not have a good song on it, luckily Phil came back. It would be interesting to know how all of that went about but I doubt it would be made public. Phil is supposed to be making an announcement tomorrow so I am hoping he is coming to do some shows here. I have not seen him since the final Genesis tour. Going to see U2 very soon & Simple Minds later in the year!!

He's just done a big tour, fell off his stool and had to be hospitalized for 2 days. Hands don't work so much i heard which isn't great for a drummer. Although that being said i think people would be slightly forgiving if Phil wanted to cheat a little. He was a fantastic musician in his day. Age is a terribly cruel mistress/

I heard about that, I believe that his son drums for him now. Its the years of drumming that has caused that. I know he has done some shows sitting in a chair. You are right age is a bad thing kinds makes it worse when you see others that have had drug filled lives & they still seem to keep going better than he does!

it is such a shame but no one would bat an eyelid if he just sung, lets face it he is a great vocalist too. What i don't know is why he is touring now for money? don't think so i once read he was worth £300m ok his divorce hurt him but still i don't think hes gna need to draw a giro.

I saw he is coming but sadly not near me, that's no good Phil!! It at a squeeze may be possible to go to Florida but its very close to going to see Simple Minds, plus it would still be a long drive, I do not want to go north at that time of year. I can only hope he announces some more dates!!

Cleveland is nice in October. The snow usually doesn't come until Nov.

Tickets aren't on sale yet, but you can buy from a scalper site:
Front and Center = $840
Nose bleed = $126

Plus fees.

Who is YOUR favorite band?

I'm sure I responded to this before, but....

Cowboy Junkies.

Though I have to say that in concert the Grateful Dead never failed to please; strange friends always showed up.

Of course many friends have raved about the the Rolling Stones and the Who.... and rightfully so.

Springsteen always put on a good show, "1975-07-28 - CARTER BARRON AMPHITHEATRE, WASHINGTON, DC" might be the best concert ever. Back in those days concert sponsors didn't know what to do when people loved the show...many encores later, the show was finally stopped....

My favorite concert was Harry Chapin on July 4th, in Italy of all places, roughly 3 years before he died...but that had as much to do with the people I was with as the music.

The red weekend starting with the Outlaws and Papa John Creach will never leave my mind...

Anyway, I digress... Cowboy Junkies.
