this movie is based 1992, marvel's decided back were problems sell their comic books as well. both companies were going under as in bankrupt.

marvel in the early 90's, decided that X-Men has about 15 characters in their roll call. marvel decided split the original X-Men have them or one of them in three groups of X-Men.

cyclops has 4 other X-Men, phoenix lead 4 more X-Men, and angel with icemen ( if I remember right. during the time, the beast joined up with the avengers.) all together was three groups of X-Men in three different own comic books. " X-Men ", " x-force " , and " the uncanny X-Men " . I think that is right.

marvel struck gold with brilliant idea, that save marvel. dc decided killed superman. with " death of superman ". this single episode of killing off superman.that struck gold, ( it worst comic book, I read in my life .) literally dc for going under and save dc with one shot.

this movie is based six part limited issues, which had 12 parts crossover into other marvel's comic books. basely, this a year long event, this first of two for the avengers. the last X-Men's move: " X-Men: apocalypse " was based on a year long with one storyline. half of the story was good and other half really bad.

I expect is pretty good or a flop, don't except a lot. I read the original storyline, I really hate it. I thought it was stinker and waste of money. comic book back then were way overpriced. I expect this movie should much better than the comic's version, I hope so.

I don't really have heard in the past, or even, any characters are get kill in this movie, I don't see why for it.

marvel is a gold mine of materials of old comics from 60's to 90's storyline's plots, that make this movie no less than a winner for them.

I think I read somewhere they plan for another 14 Marvel movies. I have to say I'm not a fan of the Avengers or X-Men. I do like DeadPool though and i'm really looking forward to the second movie coming out in May. I will probably take the kids to see the infinity war movie, we have seen the rest together but I genuinely couldn't care if they all died, especially Iron Man/Robert Downey Jr as he's just a t***. Capt America for the win!

marvel is going exit robert dowey and chris evans ( capt. ) because they think they are getting old, but both actors agreed to quit and, other factors involve with their contracts, too. both actors are have nice compromise with nice paycheck and incents.

thor ( chris h.) is taking a hike, he will be replace, too, with another actor, and a nice payday.

that sound right 14 marvel movies coming out up to 2023 or 2025. I read there is at least, 6 to 8 marvel movies next year.

I kind of expect both Cap and Iron Man to die in the first one. I wouldn’t call Iron Man a t***. I can see why he might/should be the true leader of the Avengers over Cap. They shown hints of it in Age of Ultron.

I loved the last Thor movie, (it's the only one i've seen though) it was so tongue in cheek, i love it when they take themselves less seriously which is probably why I liked the DeadPool movie.

Undoubtedly there will be another Black Panther movie given the cash it made and the news headlines it also made. I haven't seen it yet although i'm sure i will when i get a decent download for it lol

Didn't Downey Jr get like $80m for 3 movies plus a cut of the takings. I'm sure i read that somewhere also. He could no doubt happily retire after that payday.

Use of the profanity. I got -2 too lol

It's not really Iron Man i see as a t*** but more Downey Jr, never been a fan, I get the sense he's terribly self absorbed and up his own arse. Could be wrong though.

I just happened pick up my library, the dvd of thor. I haven't seen it yet.

one of the biggest success marvel at the beginning in 60's, stan lee thought humor in his comic books like " Spider-Man ". marvel movies using the format in humor from comic books to screen.

dc has never learn two things going with them. developing alter ego and superhero. peter parker was developed first, showing a trouble teenager losing his uncle, and taking care of his aunt. something could happen an a regular teenager.

not all, average teenagers gets bit by an radioactive spider turns into a human spider.

from first 20 issues of " the amazing Spider-Man " you know more about peter parker than Spider-Man. I read dc from 60's to 90's, I still know very little about who is clark kent and bruce wayne.

I happened to see the horrible " justice league " , what a turkey. everything, wrong with the movie. bad storyline and really bad miscast. I have give 3 stars out of 4 stars barely.

I think read that bout downey, is now one most highest paid actor in Hollywood now. he grew up a lot since he was in younger, he in and out rebah. for drugs and booze. he came long way to paid dues, it paid off now. in general, he rally not a bad actor at all.

the interesting part of " black panther " in the comic books, he was introduced in " the fantastic four " . how he met the avengers, he decided not us the front door of their mansion. he sneaks through the security and fought them and beat them.

once, cap, and tony realized he was no threat and he told about he was a friend of reed, and reed told them for his clearance. he joined the avengers. I wait for dvd of the black panther. I heard two or three sequels to him coming out in the future.

in the comic books, both cap and tony share the responsiblies as leaders. both cap and tony butt heads together, out of friendship and respect. all other avengers will take orders from both cap and tony. in the truth sense of leadership in the avengers goes to cap than tony.

I think it goes to cap due to his military background. In the movies its the same, but I feel as people think cap is respected more due to his belief in always doing what’s right. I personally think he’s too self righteous at times. I like in the movies when they all fell under Scarlett Witch’s spell, only Tony had a vision that had the entire avengers team in it. It was his greatest fear. He lost his teammates/friends in battle and it was his fault. That’s why I felt like he’s a true leader compared to Cap.

He makes a crap ton of mistakes, but he does care about the team a crap ton.

in comic book, the reasons why tony decided to find capt. in artic, after 40 years, suspend animation that kept capt. alive that frozen into artic ocean, where tony found him.

in 40's, capt. and bucky was trying to stop baron zemo . baron rigged bomb on bi-plane to blow up somewhere or something ( i can't remember.) bucky and capt. jumped on the bi-plane that remote take off. bucky got to the cockpit, where the bomb was. and capt. was on the side of the plane inches his way to the cockpit.

the plane exploded, supposing kill to bucky, and capt. blow off the plane into the artic sea.

i think two reasons why tony decided to bring capt. is one reason, the most important reason is America, need a hero. captain America! other reason and personally one was capt. working and befriended howard stark ( tony's father ).

so get the impression, that was an enstranged relationship father and son. with capt. help tony want find some separate peace through Capt.'s experience with his father. i can't remember what the scientific project was working , tony need more information to build it. i forgot the whys during the time of this.

for avengers, tony need capt. for his leadership and military experience. at the time, tony need not or want to be leader of avengers anymore. he want to do other things, even he want to quit for awhile.

the movie version, what you are descripting two different than the comic version. you are probably right, in the ways of the movie version thinking.

I feel as people think cap is respected more due to his belief in always doing what’s right. I personally think he’s too self righteous at times.

what you said about this part above, is correct more the comic version than the movie version. this exactly, why tony bought back capt. for Capt.'s idealism of America. America need his visons and make them hope for a better America, and reason to fight justice and American way of life.

You have a point. Though in the movie version, you can kind of see the goody two shoes self righteousness kick in. Even Tony wanted to punch Steve in his perfect teeth.

I haven't seen any of the other Avenger movies recently, or any of those really big Marvel movies. I think it sucks because due to the infighting with Fox Studios and Marvel, certain franchises are more or less getting 'pushed away' as a result.

For example, in the Street Fighter/X-Men crossover series of Capcom fighting games dating back to the 90's, Wolverine and the X-Men were at the forefront. The first super hero fighting game they did was X-Men: Children of the Atom and they more or less kept the models unchanged since then (Marvel vs. Capcom 2 added in the other X-Men from CotA who weren't in other releases with their sprites practically identical [Silver Samurai, Spiral, Marrow, Colossus] to how they were back when they debuted. When it eventually changed to include Marvel as well, the characters at the forefront every time were Ryu, Chun-Li, Morrigan and Zangief for Capcom and Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops and Rogue. Not all of them returned in subsequent releases, but ALL of them were available in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (including 2 Wolverines!)

Fast-forward to the newest version, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and you immediately notice something is wrong. There are 0 X-Men and 0 Fantastic Four characters!!! None! And remember, the X-Men fighting game was the very first super hero fighting game that Capcom did, so how could this happen? The dispute between Fox Studios and Marvel over who owns the rights for the 'movie deals for those two franchises.' Because of stupid squabbling, more than 8 popular characters are gone. Hell, Deadpool's not even there anymore, despite him being part of the newer 'Marvel Cinematic Universe' that they were trying to push on us. Never mind if people actually 'like' playing as certain characters, right?

We lost Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, Sentinel, X-23, f***ing PHOENIX, Dr. Doom and Super Skrull. But hey, at least we got Gamora, Ultron... Oh, and a s***ty version of Thanos sans Infinity Stones! Oooooh, Winter Soldier too, but only as DLC! Spend 4 bucks, get someone who's super powers are guns. It's not like Chris Redfield from Resident Evil is literally all guns, right? Better have two gunmens.

I lost all interest in this game the moment I found this out. Sure, everyone and their cat played Doctor Doom in the 3rd one, but that's 'cause he was fun! Hold back and tap medium attack, he launches missiles. His air dive attack has the stupidest, yet most appropriate name, when he bellows out "FOOT DIVE!" And then dives into you with his foot. Magneto could fly, push and pull you, launch metallic debris. And need I say anything about Wolverine, aka The King of Rush-Downs? It took him nothing to dash, attack while dashing, start up a quick combo, launch you up, bring you back down, relaunch, smash you down, and then claw you to pieces! He was really fun to use, easy to learn, difficult to master, all that good stuff...

...Meanwhile in Infinite, the role of rush-down character went to Black Panther... but you have to pay for him because SPOILER ALERT!!! DLC character! Wanna play someone who feels like a half-ass Wolverine who clings to walls? Cough it up, b****!

The characters don't feel right too. Rocket Raccoon, who was fun to play in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, now feels like he was just shoe-horned in because they stripped him of some of his best moves to replace with Groot moves (Oh yeah, it's Rocket Raccoon & Groot now! Because a whole 5 moves where he pops up for a split second means he's somehow a partner character). Gamora and Thanos just feel wooden. I mean, the story stuff with Thanos is decent, but when he fights, it just seems like he's reading off a script. And Ultron... oh my God, we get it Ultron! "You are big fancy robot and therefore you are superior and humans am inferior because you are Ultron and everyone should cower to the great and powerful Ultron who toooooooootally didn't steal most of Magneto's playstyle because Magneto copied YOU because you are Ultron and you are big fancy robot, blah blah blah..." Jesus Christ! Why the hell did they try to make him the primary Marvel villain?

Oh yeah, it's ONLY because the main villain for Capcom was Sigma from Mega Man X and because they're robots that can adopt/integrate new technologies, they fuse together to create 'Ultron Sigma,' which is basically... *sigh.*

And then his 'Omega Form...' I mean... the f*** even...?!

....... It makes M.O.D.O.K seem like a normal person... f***! M.O.D.O.K! I forgot about him! Why isn't he in Infinite?! He was f***ing amazeballs in 3!!! You could kick people with his little baby legs for a flippin' 18+ hit combo that did no damage! It was the best.

Meanwhile, Capcom had to step it up with their characters to make up for Marvel's s***ty showing. And they did their best. Mainstays like Ryu, Chun-Li, Morrigan made the obvious cut. Chun-Li plays so good in this one, actually. I'm glad they brought back her air kick super. Surprising characters made a reappearance like Nemesis from Resident Evil and Sir Arthur from Ghosts n' Goblins. Remember that game where you were the knight who had to rescue your girlfriend and when you took damage, you were in your underwear? Yeah, that guy. And he moves with the same 'brisk' walk he had in the original game and MvC3, although he seems to be a bit better somehow. Haggar has replaced Zangief as the grappling muscle-man 'cause he has a lead pipe. But Jedah steals the show!

Whoever voiced Jedah needs to win an award. Seriously, this dude's got the voice, the sinister overtones, his flipping LAUGH, down perfectly. Unlike Ultron who has to remind you every 5 seconds that 'you're inferior' or 'I are best robot,' Jedah tells you everything about him just by looking at him. He's a soul-sucking demon who controls blood. He prefers to float in the air because he finds walking tedious. He's willing to make deals, if it suits his interests. Despite his arrogance, he never underestimates his foes. Doesn't that just sound like a better villain? And he plays awesome too! They kept all of his moves, plus added a few new moves to boot that make him almost the new Dr. Doom. Him and Ultron get the most playtime out of all the characters.

Man, this turned into a long a** rant. TL;DR: Probably not gonna see the new one in theatres. I hate how in-fighting ruined the games.
