Various events are set in motion in films and the characters involved all do things to affect their outcome.
I wonder though what would have happened if one of, or more of the participants in a scenario did not act as they did. I would like to explore that in this thread.
For example, in the fight between Frank Castle and Gianni Franco, Franco manages to pin down Frank's arm holding a revolver and proceeds to smother him with his other hand while holding him down on the floor in between his knees. Franco's son, Tommy, tries to pull his father off Castle and Franco pushes his son away, releasing his smother hold on Frank. This results in Frank regaining control of the gun and managing to shoot Franco.
The intervention of Tommy enabled Castle to be able to grab the gun and kill Franco. Now, what would have happened if Tommy hadn't intervened? Would Franco have held his smother hold on Castle long enough to kill him, or would Castle have been able to break the smother hold and endure long enough to still kill Franco?
To better aid this particular inquisition, I present to you the fight in question. Please watch from 1:19:34 - 1:20:54
it awhile, I seem this turkey in movie theater. the comic book is much better than the movie.
no, I don't think that if tommy's intervine would have that much difference. frank has ( if I remember right ) has a military seal training, as well as martial arts expert beside. anything his hands is a deadly weapon, he is one of the best seal operative, they ever had.
most so-call fight scene are fair. frank could have playing potassium to get his second wind or working the play against franco.
do the op: anytime in these kind of scenes in the movies, that deals with a child or a woman ( yes, twilite, I agree. )that we would the child or the woman die in the scene. because they annoying ( screaming or in the way of a good killing in the scene.) the audience rooting for them to save the day.
no, of course, I rooting the villain to kill the hero. never happen!
