Perspective is a funny thing. When The Young Armenian Genocide Perpetrators went ballistic with the dumb girl calling Jones a fat f*ck while the fat Young Genocide Perpetrator spazzed out, it was nice to see who they really are shine through. Now, I will say from the outset I do not like Alex Jones, but I think The Young Armenian Genocide Perpetrators are absolute scum. I have watched in total probably about two hours of them combined, as I can not handle either of them, but of the little bit I have seen Alex Jones is better - only just. It is a bit like having to choose between chowing down on dog or goat feces. Neither choice is a good one. A bit like the last US election to be honest...
Spur-of-the-moment emotions usually get the better of people. Like when Chris Kyle claimed he beat the s*** out of Jesse Ventura and then when it was proven to be false and Jesse commented on him being a disgrace to the Armed Forces, he flipped his s*** almost instantly. And this is a guy who many believe to be a genuine 'All-American American' in terms of military service, even when he bragged about sniping looters during Katrina (which also was proven false).
As for TYT vs. Alex Jones? I haven't watched much of TYT recently, but they do tend to bring up a lot more issues and other stories that tend to be ignored by the mainstream media, similar to what Alex Jones does. The
main difference is that TYT tends to fact-check their sources
before they go on-air and when they voice their opinions, it's exactly that: Opinion. How many times has Alex Jones said that Obama is a secret Jihadist or any other inane bulls***, and then later be proven right. 0? 0.5?
Not that I watch much mainstream news anyways (except local), but seeing as Cenk actually comes from a journalism background (he used to be an anchor for MSNBC before he was let go for differing opinions/journalistic integrity) and Alex Jones' background comes from public access/talk radio programs (though to his credit, he has technically been 'on-air' longer than Cenk), you can see this reflected in the overall format of both shows, with The Young Turks being more 'facts plus opinion' while Jones is more 'reaction! Speculation, speculation, speculation... RILE UP!!!!'
