I don't really consider myself a conservative, I tend to score center slight left. I like some conservative ideals and I like some liberal ideals.

Is this guy even on the ballot? Can you write him in? I forget some of this stuff. I usually vote by mail and I can't remember if you can write people in or not.

On the ballot in 40 states. Each state has different write in rules. I can never keep Californian law straight.

It is fact. Every one is entitled to their own opinions. But not their own facts.

Put her record and her qualifications side by side against every candidate in the entirety of the race and it's no contest. She is the most qualified and most able. It's not even really debatable. You don't have to like it - many don't - but your (and their) displeasure/distaste for the reality does not change that reality.

Apparently Trump believes (as well as his minions) that he is indeed entitled to his own facts.

She's got 30 yrs of doing jacks***... that's what her qualifications are. LOL....

You and a couple of other posters here have a way of putting people in their place. I was respectful of you and said that half the country disagrees...I said it a way that wasn't meant to offend, just merely the fact that 44 percent of the population disagrees with you... that's not a small number.

I need to learn to do that put people in their place thing that some on these forums are able to do so eloquently. It's a skill I suppose. The same way that a politician never answers a f***ing direct question.

Let's see. 6 years a Senator & she could not do it in 30 years, never mind being only one of 100 senators, not to mention the larger house & president & judicial. Yeah, Damn her for not getting it all done. But Trump- yeah, that's the ticket. Everything the Midas King touches is covered in gold & will be done the very first week in office.

I'm not offended. I'm just stating facts. After watching Hillary Clinton endure a level of scrutiny never before applied to any of our leaders in the entirety of America, I've got serious respect for her. Frankly if ANY PERSON - living or dead, American or not - had been studied that seriously, with such determination and with such assumed guilt - they would not be standing. They wouldn't be able to show their face. Not even Mother Teresa. But somehow she is more guilty, more vile, less trustworthy and less honest than everyone else that is either doing the exact same thing or worse. Or even things that are actually required to be a politician.

That doesn't pass the smell test. It wreaks of hypocrisy and an organized witch hunt.

There are several legitimate things one can wonder about with Hillary Clinton. Her qualifications aren't among them. Regardless of how easily you and others find it to wave them all away.

Especially the weekly new bengazhi committee which weekly found nothing. Many a past presidential candidates would have long ago folded under such unfounded scrutiny.

LOL.. I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you on how stupid people are...

Hilary is a typical bulls*** f***ing politician.. I'll say that til the cows come home.

She offers nothing but platitudes...just like most of them do.

She's been in public service for 25 plus yrs and hasn't done s***... same old same old....

I guess we'll have to have a polite disagreement here. I'm not going to convince you of anything and vice versa...LOL...

What has Trump, or Pence, or Johnson, or Stein done? Seriously dude. Your anti-Hillary smears fall flat.

Trump policy issues I've never really had much issue with, it's just his unstable personality that I couldn't get behind.

Many are doable, some probably aren't. In the real world things don't go the way you think they should and that is just "politics" of the world.

His policies are naive, immaturely thought-out & dangerous. His personality is just more fuel to the fire against him.

Seal up the border.

Renegotiate our trade deals with other countries.

Redo how we interact with NATO.

Remove our imperialism thought-out the world. Close some of our bases throughout the world.

Stomp the f*** out of terrorist in Syria where they are hiding out.

Look at how we interact with Iran and North Korea. Look at how we deal with China and Russia.

Those are just off the top of my head....

Broad answers to complex topics. Just like Trumps. Buzzwords for the electorate. We need to know more what each candidate thinks.

I do feel screwed in terms of a guy to root for. I don't detest HRC, I just find her to be typical, I don't have much respect for politicians in general just because I feel that they are bought and paid for by special interest. You can't make it in this country unless you're in someone's or some groups pocket.

Campaign finance reform needs to be looked at, but it never will. Term limits and things of that nature needs to be looked at. The lobbyist control and propose of how bills and legislation gets brought up all need to be looked at.... IDK.....

Typical looks really really good right now!

Trump went one click past where he was.

The only problem is that the starting "click" is pretty low........

My gut is telling me that a no vote would help out Clinton...

I'm not so sure about this... and I mean I really don't know.

I've tried to do a little research with mixed results.

This weekend a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, among other things showed a 2 way race being:

Trump 38%
Clinton 52%

And a 4 way race being:

Trump 35%
Clinton 46%
Johnson 9%
Stein 2%

If (big "if" ) that is accurate, it would appear that from a 2 way race to a 4 way race, Clinton loses 6%, while Trump loses 3%..

If that is accurate (and it might not be) a 3rd Party vote would help Trump.

Obama says backing 3rd Party candidate Is 'a Vote for Trump. But we all know that we can't trust him.

Paul Ryan is telling Republicans to vote their conscience. (I suspect that is a subtle way to tell republicans that they are not evil horrible people if they don't vote for Trump....but I could be wrong.)

And on the other hand the Guardian thinks that the "loss" would be equal: "Contrary to popular belief, third-party votes don’t just come from would-be Democratic voters – they appear to be coming equally from potential Republicans."

A writer for US News & World Report thinks that a vote for a 3rd party candidate actually ultimately helps the two major parties... in the long run. His take is, if you are a conservative and vote for a 3rd party then you help the Democrats... AND if you are a liberal and vote for a 3rd party you actually help the Republicans... Thus a 3rd party vote is ultimately a vote against yourself.... Unless of course you fully embrace that 3rd party, in which case it is just a wasted vote.

For me... I don't know who it will help, but I am convinced a "protest" 3rd party vote is a massive waste of time.

I maintain that the only way for a 3rd party to become a viable option is from the bottom up and through electing 3rd party candidates not at the presidential level, but at the legislative level state & federal.

Still, I believe that people should vote for the candidate of their choice by secret ballot.

Christians backing away from Trump...

Among those reversing course was well-known theologian Wayne Grudem, whose endorsement was widely cited by other Christians backing the Republican presidential nominee.

The prominent evangelical magazine, Christianity Today, on Monday said Trump was "the very embodiment of what the Bible calls a fool."

James MacDonald, of Harvest Bible Church in Illinois and a member of Trump's evangelical advisory board, called the candidate's remarks "misogynistic trash." The pastor told the magazine he would no longer work with the campaign unless Trump repents.

On the other hand Jerry Falwell thinks its a conspiracy...

"I think it was timed," Falwell told WABC-AM radio in New York. "I think it might have even been a conspiracy, you know, among the establishment Republicans who've known about it for weeks and who tried to time it to do the maximum damage."

No doubt super sucky and massively evil Hillary tricked Trump in to using the "locker room talk" 11 years ago, so she could use it against him.

In 1998 Hillary also tricked Trump into saying: “Paula Jones is a loser, but the fact is that she may be responsible for bringing down a president, indirectly.” and blaming Bill Clinton's situation on his attorneys and the women he had affairs with stating that he “is really a victim himself.”

But hey, it all Hillary's fault....she sucks.
