They are the biggest cult ever, and growing and the two witness rule allows elders to abuse children, because they are power hungry. The s***tower.

Jehovah's Witnesses are quite interesting. They refuse to believe that Jesus, was God. They rather believe that He was a god. If you look in the New World Translation, the Bible they use, John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god." I am just naturally assuming that the Word refers to Jesus. John 1:14 says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,"...

I really don't like JW's. Had bad experiences with them. Mainly because my great aunt died because of their greed and stupidity.

In the 70's, it was like look the scene of the " airplane ", when Robert stack has to punched out all jw turkeys in an airport. they do ( I forgot these guys dress up as almost human. )

I was a teenager during the time, I was going or from my boy camp in Bemidji, minnosota. I had fly from st. louis to Bemidji, Minnesota or back to st. louis for 6 years as a camper on a plane. ( twilite, no, I thought flap your mouth that you how flow to Minnesota. yes, twilite, it would better that when you were tied to the outside of the plane's wing. )

one time, I was with a group of friends from camp waiting our plane, I think had to waited a plane for 30-45 minutes. ( twilite, the plane was late to a flock of geese was have problems of landing, because of their visas expired. they were coming from Canada, they were green cards expired. members - how pain to waited for them, when you are behind them in plane in air.

I heard bozo become president next year, all airport fields will a battery of national guards with bazookas. if immigrant geeses from Canada or cuba try to sneak in america. boom!! vote for trump! )

my friends and I walked by the jw bozos. if I remember it was a woman and two guys. they were white robes and beads around the necks , and white sheet pillow cases around the heads. ( twilite, forgive me, tiger. once again, twilite, escape from his cage. twilite, stop give me the finger, and take off the pillow case now! ) the woman, that she look in 20's, kind of cutie. two men. all three of them, one of their books, and I think it was a daisy and a flower necklace, that gave us.

i didn't know who they were, i never really met them before. i remember that we talked that about 10-15 minutes, we had nothing else in airport. we standing near our airport's gate, and then we had to leave the woman gave us a kiss goodbye.

only, i remember this event, that i like the book cover of jw's book. the book called " the book of Mormon ". that i had no idea what the book what was about. i was a jewish, i didn't about them at the time.

i was coming from camp to go home. so i like to read. ( i read paperbacks all years long .) i love to read Alistair mcclean's books, star trek's books, lords of rings trilogy, Michael crition's books ( he was just starting back then. ) i think that was the summer, that my cabin read the bestsellers, " the happy hooker books ". ( twilite, tiger doesn't need know that part. i don't care if you recommend the books to her. sorry, tiger. )

i remember my parents saw the book, i didn't need explain to them. because jw people all over lampert airport. i remember that hardly read at the book or even read at all. i had for few week or days, then i thrown the book away.

Really the Jehovah's Witnesses are not interesting at all.

In spite of the fact that they are a weird cult, there are no truly unique nor interesting aspects of their belief system.

They are a bit like a bunch of Gnostics that got massively drunk, then dropped a bunch of LSD, and then forgot the Gnostic knowledge principles they believed in so defaulted to irrelevant nonsense....

Or they are just stupid people that have embraced yet another stupid cult.

Edit/addition: Now Shinto...that is a quite interesting "religion".

Eh they're all cults to some degree or another. But god help us - pun intended - something has got to keep the masses in line.

I'll stick to the purity of water, thanks. [smile]https://i.tfster.com/i49/5/1/4/tfs_309ba6204b03.gif">

However the masses find that entirely too uncomplicated enough and so must have their dogma. It helps them find their line.
