My True Colors Results are: (drum roll please!)

Green- 100%!!!
Blue- 84%
Gold- 76%
Orange-52%

Out of the list of green traits, the ones that most peg me are: Analytical, Curious, Free thinking, Intellectual, Philosophical

Thanks for the input Skunky!!! Perhaps you can take the MB test to see how you compare? This test goes well with my INFJ results.

I took a "colors" seminar for work a few years ago and since I work in a technical field most of us came back with heavy green. I forget my numbers but it was heavy green with a bit of blue and a little bit of gold. I remember that I was pretty low in the Orange category.

That category was typically where the extroverted outgoing "sales" type personalities tended to land on. LOL.

I friggin hate sales people. LOL.....

I think it's awesome that employers use these tests!! I have yet to work for one that has. I think it says a lot about the character of the employer tho.

Not sure which field you're referring to when you say technical, but I work in accounting. I think that fits in a 'technical' field in regards to detail with numbers.

And that explains why I'm so low on the orange!! I'm not a fan of most salespeople either. Not all tho. It's a needed field, for sure. I just can't stand all the shistery. Lmao I don't know if that's a real word or not. I started using it at the last place I worked that had 'doorknocker' salespeople. And they were exactly the type you and I can't stand, and part of the reason I went looking for a new job.

I kid about the sales people talk, but one thing that I did get out of that class was that all types are indeed needed. the instructors listed out a scenario of what it takes to scale a huge mountain and listed out how each personality type goes into solving "problems" ie, meaning that all types contribute to the success of any given task/issue. I still joke around about how the sales types drive me nuts, but again, they serve just as much purpose as the technical problem solvers of the green.

Up thread someone mentioned something about which color is the "best" ie, there isn't a "best", there just are types and the best is the synergy of combing all them as they are all needed at certain times and points.

He could be Jack O'Rabbi. And he shall not go blind, as he has learned well from the mistakes of those before him. Moderation is the key!

Jack O'Rabbi left his mother and home of Easy Off Port, to go 'off' in search of his future wife, whose name was rumored to be Jeannie, and lived in the valley of Bottle Port. They shall give birth to unicorn O'Rabbi's that will populate the Earth with visions of grandeur.

Online forums tend to draw a large amount of the introverted types. We can control the amount of interaction with people better. Another forum that I'm on has a large amount of the I types, a good amount of INTJ's on it.
