Or three, they only got there because the parents do not communicate enough with their children, to help make an informed choice of study and career. It's the fame and prestige behind that motivates both the parents and children to choose that path.
Those who got there with or without any support from parents and stand out, understand the nature of these studies and the future challenges. They may feel traumatised at at times but keep on reminding themselves the reasons and aim behind, to choose that field of study.
I think that's where self awareness developed at all stages while growing up as a child, comes to play. It also shapes the strength of character, emotional and mental state and helps in using the common sense.
Again, something to do with the upbringing of the parents and any form of education given by the parents. That's just my own findings and opinion - I stand corrected.

may have a legit reason for being traumatized by the subject /discussion of violence . you on the other hand on about those spoiled brats that have never had much worse then a paper cut and are there because daddy will let them have a piece of plastic with no limit .
