Judges, lawyers, police, military, politicians - they all have different rules to follow than us pee-ons

I just saw a news report that in some cities, after a police shooting, the police don't have to give their statements until days later. Advocates say it's because memory is better a few days after an incident.

... so why aren't the "commoners" given the same benefit of creating ...er corroborating... I mean REMEMBERING the events that took place?

The answer to that question , It would seem totally depends on who is asking whom .

One time in the late 1980's I got a DWI , I spent the night in the drunk tank, I went to court, plead guilty , paid my fines and did the what the court ordered and never did it again.
Then one time in the late 1990's, I got a job as a server in the players lounge at the local country club .
And what do you know , the very same judge that very sternly passed judgment on me informing me of how stupid it was for me to get behind the wheel ,,,,,He came to the country club every Wednesday afternoon with three other local judges they played a round of 18 holes as a foursome stayed till closing , keeping m busy serving them as many drinks as they ordered , I guess playing golf is thirsty business because they sure could drink a bunch of drinks . Then at closing every time with out fail ,out the doors the four would wobble laughing and giving each other advise on how not to wind up in the others court for not making it all the way home .

They thought they were just to damn funny or their own good.

One night I guess I thought I'd be funny, I said to 'my judge' 'it cost me x amount of dollars and x amount of days community service and x amount a weeks for counseling, when I didn't make it all the way home one night . Does it run the same for judges or do they get an employees discount.
They all laughed like they enjoyed my jokes And the next day I was called into my supervisors office and given a new set of rules about 'talking shop ' with our members

I've been fortunate enough to not get caught up in that kind of mess (lawyers) ... only a little bit, years ago.

I'm just dealing with a minor-to-midlin' case of medical fuc-kover ... but who isn't, right?

Well technically yes...I mean a thief can still say that stealing is a crime when someone else does it and he'd be correct.

That being said, she should face investigation and removal from the position in my opinion.

Not any more, but just the chaos between procedures, Rx's, billing from 17 different things/people/services/whatnot ... then insurance back-and-forth... until it ends up in collections and I tell them to figure it out and explain to me... haha..
