Well, when I owned a PC, I downloaded Firefox too, and I found it alot better.
Less chance of getting viruses. But now I'm on Mac and use Safari with next to
nil chance of viruses.

I think it's superior.

It's faster, has better features (tabbed browsing, extensions), and doesn't manage to take the whole system down when it crashes.

Be sure you check out the extensions for some neat add-ons.

It's way better than Opera simply because of its compatibility (Opera has trouble with lots of websites, such as ESPN and Gmail, partially due to its rendering engine and partially due to its insistence on taking pages from cache instead of refreshing from the server)

When you click on a link use the middle mouse button and see what happens.

I love it!

Also firefox is less buggy and is more secure so you made the right choice

Extensions are little plug-in applications that do neat things.

The main page for them is:
https://addons.mozilla.org/?application=firefox

Adblock, for instance, lets you directly block most ads that you see on web pages. Fasterfox is an extension that adds a couple of small speed tweaks to the browser.

They're not necessary at all, but they're there

I tried it just to see what the fuss was about but I wasn't impressed. And it makes the images on my site look ridiculous.

It messes up the order of the front page images. Try it!
