RIP Yogi Berra

Gone but not forgotten.

An 18-time All-Star, Berra appeared in 14 World Series as a member of the Yankees and won 10 of them.
Berra’s contributions to MLB history are incalculable, but his legacy might be even better remembered for what he contributed to American language.

A sportswriters’ favorite, Berra had countless expressions and turns of phrase that were memorable because most of them didn’t make any sense.

i always remember yogi was voice his opinions off and on the field in interviews. i think he was kicked out of games. i don't remember watch him anything more that, having fights with ny boss a lot. he was always in the news.

off seasons, he spend time in yellowstone park, with his buddy, boo-boo. those two wild crazy guys stole picnic baskets from vacationers. oops, you don't mean, yogi bear! he didn't was the manager of new York Yankees, boo-boo was the manager. he taught babe ruth how played the game. also, babe stole picnic baskets as well as baseball diamond's plates. yogi bear ate his friend, forest ranger. he was a lousy third base player, too.

i think yogi berra had a colorful life. he had character to bring baseball. he was interesting to watch. i saw him more in the 60's to 90's, on the field, when i was somewhat interested in baseball. you could said that yogi berra was one of great icons of baseball and national parks, ( twilite, yogi bear with national parks, who in the hell is " boo-boo " ? )
