has any one done this one??

A woman left infertile after cancer treatment cannot use her frozen embryos to have a baby, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled.

It's about bloody time that it was recognised that embryos are a living entity with a right to live.

And a person should not be allowed to withdraw consent once the egg is fertilised. Are we going to allow men to bash women in the belly or kill newborns because they have 'withdrawn consent'?

This woman ought to be allowed to implant her babies.

wooo.... mmmmm.... what can i say, the problem is theres been to much choice (missy may disagree! ) given to women when it come to family, and in this instance the man got the decision instead, and respect to him. He is thinking about not just the emotional side of things but the economical side. Most women with a ticking clock sometimes dont think about... But if she got her way then he would be by law obligated to pay 15% of his wages to the upbring of the baby.

BUT i really feel for the woman she not only cant have kids, but from today on may find it hard to be in a relationship. adoption maybe her best hope...

This guy gave his consent when he agreed to have his sperm create these babies in waiting.

It's wrong for him to be allowed to stop the process now.

We are being sucked into a battle between two individuals who have split up and from what I have seen it wasn't a happy split.

He's looking to have another dig at her by denying her, her wish to have her own children. SAD.

I don't know about where she is, but it's really hard to adopt a baby here in Australia because girls are choosing abortion instead.

Adoptions are getting very rare here in Ireland because more girls who have unplanned pregnancies are keeping their babies.

It's wonderful to hear that. Do they have any help raising them (financial, counselling, courses etc)?

Do you believe non-custodial parents should not be financially responsible for their children?
