I've said we should try to provide equality for all. However- the needs remain higher for specific groups that can be connected directly to the in-equalities of the past. Those must be addressed or else you don't give a reason for it not to occur again in the future. And YES we certainly can & should give land back to First Nation's as opposed to turning them over to industry & private hands when they are taken out of Federal Control.

today is today.
land in federal hands that belong to a tribe, needs to be returned to tribe.
as long as it not hurt the state.

Frick the state. We have inherent rights. We deal Nation to Nation. The states have little/no say.

Rather than first Nations or African Americans, I was thinking more the 2nd and 3rd world sweatshops that produce cheap Food, TV's, Cloths and anything else you care to think of, where the workers are in actual slavery. Its better imho, for some people to be poor but free, than forced slavery.

Would you support reparations for slavery in exchange for ending affirmative action?

I do not have any idea how the issues of Affirmative Action can be or ever will be resolved .
But since the people who were slave owners and the people who were enslaved, have all been worm food for more then a few centuries , I don't think ' reparations for slavery' will do much towards resolving the issues of affirmative action we find ourselves dealing with in America.

"affirmative action refers to admission policies that provide equal access to education"

AA needs to remain in place but open to folks of all people and cultures.

In the past school has only been affordable to those born to wealthy families.

It has left a lot less opportunity to those born to poor families.

Also, more food for thought:

Some families are still benefiting from the handed-down royalties from their slaving ancestors.

Price on education outside of Highschool needs to be lowered tremendously.
