Hello!

As an outsider (I'm Swedish), I struggle to keep track of domestic politics of the United States. I therefore also struggle to find out more about potential candidates for the future 2016 elections.

Are there any "likely" candidates springing up from either side? Of course Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Biden are potential candidates on the Democratic side, and the Republicans may have potential candidates in for example Ted Cruz. What other names are likely candidates for either side? We're just two years away from a switch of President anyway.

I'm heading back to run as 'Mr. Butt' and give all of my speeches like Jim Carry in Ace Ventura.

On the other hand, it's only been two years since the last election. I can't say I can stomach the thought of trying to think of who's going to be on the ballot two years from now.

Obama is going to violate our constitution and force everyone into allowing him to run for a third (3rd) term, which is in violation of our governmental system, at which time he will declare himself to be the King of the USA.

Within a very short but unspecified period of time, Obama will attack the rest of the world (with the help of the United Nations) and institute a world wide socialistic empire.

But... to answer your question: For the Democrats there is only Hilary Clinton. If she runs, she will win.

If she choses to not run for office, the front runner will be Biden. He would also most likely win.

For the Republicans.... they more or less have the Three Stooges as their candidates.

The Tea Party.... they have some drunk insane psychotropic taking nitwit who can barely tie his/her own shoe laces.

The good news is that if the Tea Party/Republicans win... we will all have a lot of fun... at the expense or the middle and lower classes of the USA.

Would Obama win if he ran again? Leaving aside the muppets (the people that always vote for a particular party cos "that's what my pappy did and his pappy did afore him," types)...? how is Obama viewed by the non aligned?

From an outside perspective, I am glad he can't run again, as the world needs a rest from his stupidity and the killings it causes.

Ignoring all those weird facts and laws and whatnot that would prevent him from doing so...

It depends upon who is opposing him. Just like in the last election. He was viewed (and rightly so, I believe) as the lesser of two evils.

Riiiight...because all the stupidity is his.

Sadly, that is the way we view elections here too. This idea that both sides are useless, incompetent or criminal (my money is on the latter), is not only a reflection of the politicians, but also, the voters it seems to me.

It's not *all* his fault. When Putin spoke of American foreign policy and said that watching it was like watching monkeys throwing hand grenades, he was not altogether wrong... (although, I think America's apparent stupidity has intent behind it).

Anyway... Obama is only to blame for what he has said and done, and is partially culpable for what has arisen from it. Just like Bush Snr and Jnr are only responsible for their stupidity and the deaths it unnecessarily caused.

That's all. Just Clinton and Biden.

Ted Cruz can't because he was born in Canada unless you can somehow show that this means he's still "natural born."

So, no one but Clinton and Biden.

Just those two and that's it.

She's got the machinery and he's got the other thing.

If Clinton gets elected it could be sort of a package deal. Bill could be the First Man or whatever.

if hilary did run for vice-president. only candidate in political history that i know that really know for a long time. joe binien, i really don't about him, i don't follow politic that much. like most candidates that run for presidency and vice-president. we get to know them in the two years are running. that only advantage that hillary has over candidates on both parties. the question is for voters in 2016, do we want joe as a president of the united states.

There isn't really a 100% set definition of the expression "natural-born citizen" but in general, one who gains citizenship automatically at birth can be considered such a citizen and Mr. Cruz is.
