i've had an active dish 522 reciever for years now, and i've had my centurylink internet service for years also. i still have not created a dish online account and cannot find anything on the internet about fines for it. even the dish signup website doesn't have any disclaimers about whether it costs or is free, and i even checked the FAQ on their website. i am afraid to make a dish account until i can confirm if there are any payments required to do so, but I also want so badly to stream tv onto my multitude of android devices and PCs. i can pay my bills and get my food and thats about all i can do right now in my current condition. can i get an answer from someone who has already done so? an answer from somebody who knows someone who has done this might also help. oh god this question is so unclear i dont know how to explain the situation without being long and unclear!

Here's a link to a site listing alot of the satellite broadcasters in your area https://www.amfibi.com/us/TN/1073-direct_broadcast_satellite_services_dbs_

I'd give some of them a call - they should be able to give some idea as to who offers free broadcasting.

Your next step will be setting up your receiver properly to receive their signal - Searching for the 522 it is a pretty common box their in the USA so you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.

i was afraid i was unclear. ill try to clear some things up in steps.
1: i already have satellite service (dish network)
2: i cannot pay anymore than i currently am
3: i am looking to link my dish service to an online account (dish.com)
4: i do not know if there are any fees or overall price changes that can happen if i create a dish online account, and i NEED to know that before i do it.
5: what i meant by 522 is that that is the model of DVR that i am using.
hopefully that cleared things up?

Yeah, the "522" is your DVR/Receiver - Seems to be quite common in the States so you should be able find support for it easily if you have to adjust it yourself when hooking up to Dish Online.

As for Dish Online's service - I don't believe we have anything similar to that here so I couldn't comment on whether or not there would be an extra service charge for the capability of sharing your TV access with other wireless devices.

Here, in Zealand, we have SKY for the rich people and Freeview for the poor. The only prereq for poor people is that they can afford the DVR/Receiver (which ever brand they choose). At first I was a bit disgruntled but giving it more thought it's been long over due that these old aerials are removed from existence - Far too many electromagnetic wires nowadays.

well, here if you dont want to pay monthly for your TV you pick up an antenna, get an analog-digital converter if you need it, and plug it all up and you get free local channels. freeview sounds kinda similar to that..... you sure that these are individual programs supplied by zealand instead of putting cover names over well-known technologies and companies? lol thanks for trying to answer my question. too bad it seems that i cant seem to find any kind of answer with google, and noone seems to know when i ask a forum website, and i cannot even push an answer out of the dish website...... this must have been a very unique question for me to ask...... and therefore noone knows XD

Did you try downloading the "Dish Anywhere" mobile app?

Other than that, you may need an upgraded receiver and a product that Dish Network calls a Sling adapter. I keep seeing those indications in their advertisement.

Just as a disclaimer, I am not a Dish Network client.
