That seems like a hell of a lot of damage for just 10 people with knives. Someone has been be very busy planning out that attack .

imagine 10 people with machine guns.

Trying to compare ten people with knives to ten people with machine guns, would be like trying to compare apples to oranges.

i'm glad they only had oranges.

Maybe I'm missing something here , it sounds like since the knife welding criminals didn't use firearms ,then it's not much of an issue.
But, 28 Dead, 113 Hurt seems like a very serious issue no matter what sort of weapons were used .

If someone wants to hurt others, they will do so, by any means.

It doesn't make it any less tragic because guns were not used. Why the hell do some people focus so much on the fact of "It would have been worse if there were guns!"?

It was a violent and horrendous act, no matter what types of weapons(s) were used.

it is sad we live with people who murder to make a point.

I didn't read the story well enough the first time but checked again just before I posted. I'd seen the beginning of a TV show where a horrendous knife attack had occurred in a subway. I want to say it was The Following.

The show had the situation occur on the actual subway train and this one sounds like it was just at the station but...it's still a fairly confined space where there is only so much you can do to get away.

The foreign news agencies are reporting that the 8 men and 2 women that carried out this attack were Muslims.

One wonders why the American "news" agencies omitted that fact.
