You take things in directions that people don't intend, and I think it's because you presume that a lot of people think the way you think they think.
Ha ha...unfortunately I would have to agree that this is what is going on most of the time because I have noticed people I deal with in person often times interrupting and responding to me in manner which is a bit underestimating.

I'm not saying they have to, I'm saying that if you have the ability to better your situation and don't, you really don't have a lot of room to complain.
This is true but you are possibly only looking at twenty percent of those poor bums holding up signs and even then they, more than likely, don't realize they have profitable talents that are in need.
But many of us out here have skills that the majority studied for. How many 'Soon to be rock bands & singers' have you known in your life?
How many PC techs have you ran into?
Ha! Good God! With the net and availability of information and affordable software have you been to sites like Desura or Shiny Loot and seen all of the amateurs turning out games?
And what about journalism and reviews nowadays? I just tune into some nobody on YouTube doing it better than long established news and hobby sites. xD
You also have to consider those bums holding signs might not get hired a lot of places because they often go off in a conniption talking back to the voices in their head forgetting that others are watching....Like the HR rep at their interview.
I'm one of very few people who could explain to a employer that their schizophrenic employee is harmless and only result of society not coming forward and sharing science information in a direct, honest and comprehensible manner.
