Fair dinkum, you've really gotta wonder about C.A. Are they taking the mickey or not? Seems like they dont know if they're Arthur or Martha. Sacking the head coach just weeks before the Ashes starts smells of panic and suggests that its the tail that's wagging the dog. Boof has had a lot to say on twitter so lets hope he can back up his words with results.

She seems like such a sweet lady.

Well she's now free to a good home so you can come and collect her if you like or we can post her over

Can you briefly describe in non-profane terms what it is you don't like about the red-headed lady?

I'm an American and have seen maybe 90 seconds of coverage on her at most.

Fair dinkum it would takes me hours to write down just some of the things that i despise about her. She is an habitual liar, an in your face hypocrite, a massive egotist and she is incredibly devisive. I could go on and on and give numerous examples but she doesnt deserve my time.

Can you give me an example of the most significant thing she's done that shows that she wasn't fit to lead? Again, speaking from relative ignorance on this--an honest question on my part.

Sorry if this is annoying let me know and I'll stop.

here are just a few examples
- she lied about her involvement in ousting the former pm (who is back in power and bloody hopeless)
- she went to the last election promising there would never be a carbon tax under her government and then promptly introduced a carbon tax after her govt struck a deal to form a minority govt
- she has relentlessly conducted a gender war attacking males whilst at the same time saying nothing, and even condoning certain individuals whose comments would be considered offensive by some women but because they were on her side of politics everything was ok. Even instructed her party to support an independent MP even after it emerged that he had been using highly offensive words to describe women whilst at the same time attacking the leader of the opposition and claiming that he hates women even when there is nothing he has ever said or did that supports her pathetic attacks against him. And dont even get me started on the outrageous social engineering policies she has introduced nor the way her personal interference has weakened the ADF and will put our (combat) troops safety unnecessarily at risk in the years to come.

The sacking should have happened months ago, to be honest, but bringing 'Boof' in is a masterstroke, I think, even though the timing is probably not that good. That said, the C.A board should resign, as they can not blame the coach for all of the failings on and off field that have plagued Australian Cricket in recent times - that Cricket Australia did not plan for life after Warne, McGrath etc., had nothing to do with the current coach.

"Yet, despite this, Gillard supported a man who demeaned women (Peter Slipper), while attacking as a misogynist a man who did not - Tony Abbot."

That is one of the examples of what i was alluding to when i posted the following;

True. Australian cricket is a basket case. I reckon a big reason why we lost the Ashes in 2005 is because AB had stepped down from his role as a selector before the tour of england. AB was intrumental in having Warnie dropped during the successful tour of the windies. Warne's form hadnt justified selection and so despite his great record AB saw to it that he wasnt selected for the last 2 tests. On the 2005 Ashes tour (and ever since) blokes were being selected on reputation and not form. For example one M.Hussey had a great odi series and was slaying them in county cricket and yet he wasnt even considered. Meanwhile our top order continued to misfire.

There is a part of me that is annoyed by the constant stream of pathetic female voices mourning the loss of a vadge from the top job - the rest of me just laughs at how irrational and pointless the feminised left has become. It irritates me that women constantly accuse men of fighting a gender war at the same time that only women appear to vote for genitalia while men vote for a person.

I will not be sad to see the back of this women post election - our multi-billion dollar surplus has been turned into a multiple hundreds of billions of dollars of deficit by Labour in a mere 5 years, and, due to BS like the NBN and Gonski and Labour's incessant need to create more and more jobs for "public servants," the next two parliaments will be stuck with forking out billions for nothing.

Add to this, the growing inability of Australia to feed itself because of policies aimed at destroying our agricultural sector, and, it is time to say goodbye to Australia - our days are done. The only hope we have left is that the average punter on the street is also starting to work it out, and that they may decide that the three major parties (the libs, labs and, especially the Greens) are the cause of the problem, not the pathway to a solution.

Based on the past performance of the punters at election time, I am not overly hopeful though...
