I have noticed that usually my journal entries get about 2 or 3 points when topics of equal length would get more like 8-10ish.

Tonight I made one that was rather length, got two points for it. I made a shorter thread somewhere else that got 10 points.

I understand it takes more into it than just length, but do journal entries get as much "recognition" I guess we could call it as topics? Or no?

Here is a perfect example. The first post in this thread got me 8 points. My journal entry which is longer got me 2.

I am defending my third place role against Treebee. She has passed me twice this week and I came back and regained my position in the same night!

I JUST pass her though. So then she does her regular insane amount of posting and I struggle to keep up.

It's no fair! She posts while at work! The witch!

Points are calculated differently for topics and journals.

I'm thinking about making them the same though.

What colour socks are you wearing? I find I get more points when I wear my blue socks with the red spots than when I wear the waffle weave taupe socks. Unless of course I happen to also be wearing my pin stripe suit, in which case it's a whoooole other story, as I'm sure you can imagine.

Your points length score is kinda low. I've noticed a lot of your posts are a few words or lines too. This is probably why you don't receive many points for posts. The more you right, USUALLY the more you get.

yeah, USUALLY because the damned points fairy does not like me anymore I type & type & type and get absolutely frakkin' nothing for all my well-thought out meaningless drivel.

I also seem to get more points on odd numbered days unless that day is a wednesday.
