Post Election Wrapup

Dems hold the senate.

Reps hold the house.

Obama is still in office.

No more campaign adds... for now.

All the money spent would have been better spent if given to charity and/or scientific medical research.

The Tea Party pretty much screwed the Reps and probably (ultimately) helped Obama get reelected.

The "liberal media" apparently was telling the truth for the better part of the last year.

Our country is still deeply divided.

We are all one day older.

With a little luck congress will soon decide to work for a change.

..and the end of the present age/era is just around the corner now...

An incumbent President getting reelected is a sign of the end of an era?

I was really looking forward to that. I wish we could have some sort of ordinance that requires you to remove political (support) signs within a week after elections.

I'm looking forward to a lot fewer automated messages on my answering machine from people I don't know who tell me why they're voting for so and so.

"Holy s***! Joe Bagodonuts is voting for candidate X? I guess that changes my entire political leaning."

I wish I knew someone with a name like that.

Well, after a bottle of wine, I did sorta wake up like that this morning, only not in the sun. Bright light is bad.

I guess it could be that too.
I'm easy, just not cheap.

I'm just glad it's over,no more getting all that junk in the mail.

I think I recycled 3 trees' worth of political mailers I didn't even look at.

The only mailers I got were Vote No. Sad I didn't get a smug Mittens smile for the dart board I would have bought if he'd won.
