Today on my way to town i was listening to the radio,a channel that plays older classics.
A guy calls in with a request for the song ' Fifty Ways to Leave your Lover' He said that it was his adios to his present girlfriend, he mentioned both his and her names and said that he had text messaged her to turn up her radio so she wouldn't miss it.
I thought that was a pretty chicken s*** way to end a relationship . and a pretty f***ed up way to hear that your boyfriend has left for greener pastures .

Too bad there wasn't more to the story...maybe she screwed him over and that was his way of calling it off.

Maybe he wasn't being the chicken s***, maybe he was getting back at her for something she did...maybe she cheated or cleaned out his bank account.

I'm just trying to not take sides without knowing the full story as to why he would do that...

It is a pretty interesting way of calling it off...she won't forget it any time soon I am sure.

Something tells me that the b**** he left her for is an even bigger b****!
Or she will be if they ever break up; now that she sees what he's capapble of. She will get him first!

We can only hope that it catches up with him and gives him kick him up side his head. But , it seems that in most cases even if it 'Karma' does come back around people like that guy is so self centered and busy patting themselves on the back that they completely miss it.

I'll bet that when he made it known to her that he was interested and wanted to 'hook up' he did that in person . Or who ever made the first move between them I bet he was there in person.

I thought about the ' rest of the story' .
But there was no anger or insult in his tone of voice on the phone while he was telling the DJ his request, even when the DJ made a few remarks like " Man, that's cold ' . The guy just laughed and agreed . Never a word or tone that she deserved it or that is was pay back etc... Just pride and patting himself on the back for thinking of it and sending her the text .

Maybe whatever happened...he has comes to term with, who knows...there are so many possibilities to the story, maybe she cheated and made him look bad so this was his way of one up'ing her and he felt good about the fact he thought of an interesting way etc...I just don't want to pass judgement being that I don't know the whole story

Of course, if he was doing it just to do it then yes of course I agree with you all and I really hope Karma comes back and bite's him in a worse place than just his a**

Doesn't it seem that if she had done any of these 'possibilities' to him that they would already know they were finished as a couple ?
That is what points to his being a chicken s***, he was using the song to tell her he was breaking up with her. he said that and sounded proud of himself for thinking of it.
