"Your Sister's Sister"

OK, it was sort of a chick flick in that it kinda focused on the female, touchy-feely perspective. But on the other hand, it wasn't a men are only peripheral props that give women something to talk about film. Be warned that's it's a well written dialogue (gasp) film (a huge plus in my book but....), and I'm an Emily Blunt fan so I was pre-disposed to like it. It's gotta be another one in her win column. The ending is one of those rare birds--satisfying while on the brink of resolution.

Same here. The difference is between something like this and something completely superficial like Sex and the City. There are several "chick flicks" in my top tier--number one, a Blunt breakout indeed, The Devil Wears Prada.

Haha, funny you mention that one, as I just saw it today for the first time.

i don't judge movies if there are " chick flicks " or " guy's movies ". because there is a good solid cast and a pretty good story plot, i'll go see it. if the movie look bad because of the movie's plot or bad comedy humor in movie trailer, or what it wrong with the movie in general, i won't see it. in general, i find " chick flicks " are written very well, the right actress in the movie, really worth see.
