Now tell me, does that sound like the Apostles believed that God and Christ were equal? After all they are saying that he has a God and Father. If one has a God one cannot be equal to that God.
MCB, look at the Jewish response to Jesus claiming he was the son of God. They wanted to stone him for making himself equal with God. It really is pretty straightforward, to be honest.
However, to further reveal the incorrect doctrine of the JWs, Paul said that Christ was in very nature God, but that he had "emptied himself" becoming less than he was. He also said that through Christ all things were made. John said the Word was with God, and the Word was God... and so on.
