Gutted beyond belief...

So we finally got to the stage of renovation with this new house where I could see the light at the end of the tunnel

Everything was taken out, all the new sockets done, chimneys out, walls down etc. etc.
So I was thrilled last night to come home to a house water logged beyong belief, one waterfall on each floor.

Safe to say I am not happy

Yeah we are insured, I'm hoping when (if) it drys out we can see how much damage there is and if we can rectify it ourselves withought going through the insurance. Last thing we need is to raise our premiums already.
I have no ceilings left though so maybe that will cost a bit.

We think that with all the renovations that we've been doing, someone has turned off the power for some reason at the mains, turned it back on again but not reset the pre-set times for the heating to come on. Ultimately leading to the pipes freezing and cracking leading up to the cold water tank.

Feeling slighly better about it now, need to replace floorboards etc but it's not as bad as I thought!
