And actually while we're talking about EXIF data, people may want to be careful with the images they post. Most cell phones and an increasing number of point and shoot cameras embed location data in the form of exact GPS coordinates in the images they take.

This means that if you take a pic with your cell phone and put it on Photobucket, someone can view the EXIF data and see a map of the exact spot the pic was taken.

You can change the options so it doesn't record the GPS coordinates once you take a picture.

I cant wait to see all the entrys, but it would be nice to come on here just to browse at them , and not have to scroll through all the experts who are posting, x we want a thread of interesting photo's, not a debate,

But both of my suggestions - the changing of "no post production" to "minimal post production" and the anonymization of the entries - were both agreed to be good ideas and subsequently adopted by the person running the competition.

You don't have to inject stupid, pointless, snide remarks in every goddamn post just because you're so upset I had a couple of good ideas. Give it the f*** up and move on with your life.

You're the only one using the word "experts." No one else has used that word. You are putting it in quotes and using it to refer specifically to me, and you are doing it specifically to insult. This is plain and transparent.

Furthermore, there was no "debate." There was a discussion about the rules of the competition which occurred in... gasp... the thread about the rules of the competition! Good god, does no one know decency? How dare anyone talk about the rules of a competition in a thread about the rules of a competition!

All you are doing is taking pathetic potshots at me for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Quit it.

oh get over yourself, and yes debating was the wrong word maybe,i should of put discssion, but wouldnt it be better to have a seperate thread, even attach it to this, all we want to see is the entries, and i,m sure it puts people off looking, is that to unreasonable.
