My advice to them is to just ignore the candidates and let them remove themselves by attrition. That way they don't have to lie, just report all the "good" stuff about Democrats thus perhaps staunching the bloodletting of credibility (and revenue). Perry and Cain both shot themselves in the foot, Bachmann just faded, the rest besides and Romney and Gingrich were non-starters. Of course they aren't going to say anything negative much about Romney....until after they've helped him get nominated, a la McCain.

As for Newt, they are right on time. He gets elevated in the polls and all the left-wing rags put up their "questions" about him and Freddie Mac, when their only objective is to put a wedge between him and conservatarians. What they've presented so far, hiring his company's services providing image advice, is a non-starter.

However, if it ever surfaces that he knew about the mortgage corruption going on there (if Freddie was that involved, Fannie is all that I've heard about), then put him in line for prosecution, right behind the ones who actually instituted and ran the sub-prime scam, from Clinton on down.

Wait a second, you think the media should ignore the Republican candidates? I thought Republicans were proud of their vetting process?

Nope.
It would be refreshing if they went after Left-wing candidates with even a fraction of the diligence that they devote to destroying Right-wing candidates.
You can always tell which Republican is leading in the polls.
If the alphabet news is bashing someone tonight then we know that this person was leading in last night's polls.
Republican candidates are vetted.
Democrat candidates are pandered.

What he said.

And we do want to discover our dirty laundry in the open. We just don't need their prevarications against us and for Obama, nor their 75 degree slant favoring you know who.

That is delusional. In the real world the majority of the negative news pieces are about Obama.

Have you talked to a licensed professional about your paranoid delusions?

That is laughable.

Granted...the majority of the negative news coverage SHOULD be about Mr. Obama but in reality the alphabet news does back-flips in an effort to avoid linking him to ANY but the most obvious errors.
On those rare occassions when they are forced to speak ill of their chosen leader...they do so in hushed tones...speaking quickly to finish the short blurb before anyone actually notices it.

I don't know what to say other than reality does not support your assertion. There really isn't an argument to be had here. You are assuming reality is not real. I don't see much point to arguing with a mad man.

Not mad...just annoyed by the FACTS of every-day-life in America.
