Just a simple question...is Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, completely responsible for the singer's death?

Do you mean legally, or in our layman opinion?

Is he guilty? Yes, the jury said so. But one might wonder if Dr Murray had declined, Jackson would have found another doctor to supply the drug or drugs.

He had tried to find another doctor and they all declined. Dr. Murray was the only one who would do it. And if another doctor had agreed then that doctor would have been just as guilty. Because without a doctor, MJ couldn't have died the way he did. It would not be possible.

I would say no. He was an accessory to the crime. Michael could have gone to rehab. Many had tried to get him to go long before this happened. Murray didn't intend to kill him, he just used poor judgement.

In other words; he's guilty.

Yes, that's right, but absent Murray, Jackson would have found another doctor, maybe like the one who gave Elvis Presley his over dose.

He is guilty of involuntary manslaughter. This means that he acted with criminal negligence which is sometimes called gross negligence. He did not have the intention or legally called "mens rea" to kill Jackson, but he was so reckless and careless that it caused his death. A reasonable doctor knows that the medicine he gave to Michael was not to be administered to help insomnia. So to answer your question if he did not give Jackson the drug then he would still be alive but if Michael didn't beg to take he would still be alive. So partly it is his fault.

Completely guilty? No but I'm sure he had a part in it, hence being convicted of involuntary manslaughter rather than murder.

Oh. Then yes, he is responsible for the death of Michael Jackson and is guilty of the crime of which he was convicted.
