I used a WiFi connection, but when I was trouble shooting my issues, I read a suggestion to use an ethernet connection directly to your modem. I was about to do that before I finally completed the process successfully.

One thing I did do was to disable my firewall, per another suggestion.

The download portion took 30 minutes. Luckily once it did, I didn't have to redownload on later tries.

30 minutes!

30 minutes into the download mine said 2 hours to go.. now it has just timed out on me again.

This will teach me patience..

Yeah, iCloud for me was causing problems, probably for the same reasons. Anyways, thanks for the add, and good luck with it.

i wanted to get ios 5 for my iphone but found out u need to back up everyone to the computer to upgrade the iphone so sadly i cant get ios 5 unless i get the new iphone 4s

Which iPhone do you have? I have the iPhone 4 and iTunes automatically backed up everything, installed the new software and put everything back.

i assume you have the youtube app already on yours when you bought it .
ive tried searching for "official music video" of some videos but it hardly ever has them on there . i can get them as normal on my laptop but not on my iphone4 . have you noticed this at all ?
