Does anyone know of ways to lessen the pain of arthritis? Usually having a hot bath helps me, I've taken all kinds of arthritis tylenols and stuff but never seems to do anything.

Exercise helps me. I'm on meds though. But for my knees, i find if I exercise it helps lessen the pain.
Have you seen a doctor? Everyone is different.

yeah, I am awaiting results from Xrays and blood work. Still none the wiser. I'm not even positive that it is arthritic specifically, or what type, but I am pretty sure that's what it is.

I had no idea young people could get arthritis, I thought only pensioners really got it. Interesting.

As for helping, have you tried those heated pads? That might help a bit. Or those microwavable beaded things.

Arthritis can hit at any age and there are different forms of it. i have Psoriatic arthritis for example which is caused by psoriasis.

I had/have Junior rheumatoid Arthritis in my left knee. I got it when I was 7. The drs said that it had been there since i had been born but when i contracted chicken pox it gave it a kick start and it burst into life lol

now i just get the occasional throbbing in it and sometimes i put pressure on it and it doesn't hold me nothing major

Oh dear, that must be a bit of a nightmare. I think I only associated it with old people because it's all my grandparents used to talk about

I have fairly bad arthritis in my hands and shoulders.. I find that keeping my hands and arms moving, without putting too much strain on my joints seems to help. Other than that, and things like aspirin or Tylenol I can't offer much. It's just one of those things in life that we've got to deal with.

For a long time I thought only overweight or old people got arthritis but my best friend has it and she's 24 now. She got it when she was 18 the first time.

Crazy.

Is it okay to you to take a health supplement? I know a particular supplement to reduce joint pain and aching joints through better joint health. My grandma were about to take this for several months now. And thank god it really works on her. The name of the supplement is MX High Potency Joint Aid. I don't have enough info about this one, probably you must search it over Google or Yahoo for you to know what this supplement can do more.
