is it worth taking the chance? If its a really important test i doubt it.

If I smoked weed before a test i would either abandon halfway through in search of a burger or i would sit down and write pages and pages of utter crap going off in mad tangents only i could possibly understand and think it was the best thing ever written.

I reccommend when you are stoned to write down all the ideas you have. Then read them sober.

Its an eye opener

According to a psychological study, it's much more likely yes. Whether it's a good idea is another thing.

I have tested this theory.....and the resaults came up negative. I guess Economics, Math, and Marijuana don't mix. If I were being tested on philosophy, writing, or playing video games, the outcome was a success.

I really really doubt smoking cannabis would help with philosophy. I think it would most likely turn you into one of those stoned pseudo philosophers who turn up at parties and seem to think they know everything about the world because they can recite a couple of Nietzsche quotes.

I would be shocked if that is true.

No offence, but I sincerely doubt it. Philosophy exams are hell.

I find alcohol helps me understand philosophy, think it just takes the pressure off of it a bit and makes my thoughts more coherent as it slows them down. I've never tried drinking before an exam though, I'll see how the first few exams go and re-evaluate

I think alcohol helps with thinking about things, and certain concepts. I know it's a cliché but red wine really does help with certain aspects of philosophy. What it doesn't help with is actually working.

I reckon I could solve half the philosophical questions in the world with a bottle of wine, but I'd get about three sentences into and essay before giving up and pretending I'm Batman.

Alcohol helps me loosen up, let the cat out of the bag so to speak. I am not too sure if that cat wants to run around during a philosophy examination......? ++++ Excuse me professor I need to go to the bathroom again!
