This is a survey for an argument I'm having with someone. I don't really need to know where you were born, more when asked where you were born do you say the town or city you were born in or the name of the hospital?

Please vote accordingly.

I say where I was born, if I said "The ..... Hospital" no one would have a clue where I meant unless they lived around here...

s*** sorry, I put I was born in a hospital without reading the OP, scratch my answer I always say I was born in Aberdeen.

When I lived in Aberdeen I would occasionally say I was born in Forresterhill but I reckon that would be meaningless to people outwith the Silver City.

I say the city.
The hospital used to be a women's prison, emphasis on 'used to be' so my Mother tells me!

I fear specific information can be used to hack accounts.

However innocent the OP's intentions are, i would not give specific information on an open forum.

So say town or hospital but dont give your actual place of birth.

I say the county

Only, because I can never remember the actual town - my Mum has told me about 5 different different places, none of which are on my birth certificate! If she can't remember, how am I supposed to?

Name of City

Why name the hospital,if someone hasn't heard of it you only have to then tell them the location of it and I'm pretty sure most people were born in a hospital in the last 50 yrs.

yes you did, i just had to mention that people shouldnt name the town or hospital because it is a very common security question. If I didnt say it i would feel like i had failed.
