Why do the Abraham religions not use God?s true name?

Ex 3; 13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
15And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

God is given many names by Christians and Muslims and the other Abrahamic faiths.

Yet the Bible says that I Am or I AM THAT I AM is the true and eternal name of God.

Could it be that the Church or Mosque fathers do not want people to recognize the Gnostic implications of the God within being recognized by the rank and file?

Is that a form of deception?

Is God?s true name, I Am and why are we not using it?

===============================

Further, while speaking of names and titles.

"I, even I am the LORD and beside me there is no Saviour." Is.43:11

If God is insisting that no one but himself is ever to be called ?saviour,? then He and His inspired Bible writers should never have called anyone else by that exclusive title.

Why then is Jesus, who is not the Lord, called saviour?
He should not be unless you buy into that ridiculous trinity doctrine.

Because it's irrelevant. As if we actually had His revealed name.

Well, I've heard from historians that, in many ancient Middle Eastern civilizations, names are very important. Knowing some 1's name means you have power over them. So, God doesn't reveal his name because we have no power over him. There's also the fact Jews didn't and don't want to say it anyways, lest they accidentally blasphemy his name. It's certainly within the realm of possibility Christians kept that caution.

How do you accidentally blaspheme anyone?

And if an accident, would God not forgive?

It's easy to accidentally offend some 1, people do it all the time. I don't doubt God would forgive a mistake, but prevention's always the best policy. You can't really blame them for avoiding the offense in the 1st place.

Accidents, by their nature, are unavoidable.

'Yahweh' - "The name is generally linked to a form of the Semitic word-stem HWH (originally HWY), meaning "being" or "becoming". Amorite personal names and Greek transcriptions of the tetragrammaton suggest that the vocalization Yahweh is correct, and as such should be read as having derived from a causative verbal form ("he becomes" or "he is" )." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahweh#Etymology

"He is" - "I am" - "YHWH". There you have it.

This is true. I got the results Yahweh and YHWH frim an entry in Wikipedia. In the UK the name clises used is Jehovah that has been adopted by Jehovah's Witnesses. I don't know why the authodox King James version of the bible does not use this name. Sadly humans use the written word as a weapon to justify going to war and in domestic power politics. as in "All is fair in love and war"!!!

More than likely because the KJV was translated from Hebrew/Greek/Aramaic into Latin and then into English. Several places where the KJV Bible simply says "God", the actual word used there is very different.

Maybe so. But your contention about the Abrahamic religions avoiding the use of "I AM" as the name of God is groundless; the name 'Yahweh' has been used for millennia by Christians and Jews.
