Should I try it?

and yes it would be this can version, oddly enough its on sale this week at the market, and I'm curious.

I know nothing about the strange thing called pudding in the UK, and I am a little hesitant about in a can, but well I am curious.

Oh and I absolutely hate bread pudding, soggy bread...just ick. Is this stuff the same thing? None of the recipes online look like soggy bread, but the "sponge" on the can confuses me. And frankly other than the funny name and currants I know nothing about it.

I know, canned does seem a little wrong.

but I'm trying to be adventurous. Though, I couldn't bring myself to try Vegemite last week. I got nutella instead. Maybe next time.

NOT that the two are related, in anyway other than being on the same shelving unit.

But yeah, the microwavable part through me off, though the one pictured in my sale flyer does not say microwavable.

I know weinies are not really microwavable. their little outer skins burst and then you just have an exploded hot dog, and that is just bad.

after a long workout.. if I feel super worn out and like I'm all delirious I'll have some Marmite on toast.. it definitely helps me post long arduous workout..
I assume Marmite is the same as vegemite.

yes, they are. or at least the market was using the two terms interchangeably.

And I actually put the poll up this time.

It's just sponge with currents in it. Pretty boring imo, think it's eaten with custard normally. Seems like a very 60's/70's English pudding to me. Not my kind of thing tbh.

What is sponge?

to me it is this that I would clean a counter with:

or well sponge cake which is:
this but its flour, sugar and eggs...
