I'm confused and I don't want to read a different thread!
So...she told her friend that she's engaged. Is the friend the guy she used to like? Or is that who she said she was engaged to?
And you said "I insist"...does that mean, that is what you think or that you demanded that you be exclusive?

I know it's really hard not to focus on her. I don't know if I would be able to not do it. I hope though, in time, you'll move beyond this.
Vent, get it out of your system. Talk to your friends, post on here. Just please don't let your anger become something that harms you in the long run.

Good thing you are already moving on dude. I know it's hard. I'm just wishing the best for you.

Ha, I know how you feel man, I have once dated this girl I thought was the love of my life, she dumped me only a week before Christmas, she left me for another guy, he was a total a*****e though, a complete druggy and a scumbag!
She turned out to be a weirdo though, she was meant to be 'oh so deeply in love' with him but claimed to be married to a chick!
Well, it's about a year now since that whole incident with Vanna. Summer's settling in and the weather is starting to feel alot like it was last year during that whole incident.
In September she started back talking to me and was apologetic for a while but then somewhere along the line- she tried to blame me for the whole thing so we cut ties.
Later in the year I lost my phone- so i lost all means of contacting her.
As i started to fill my new phone with numbers- i realised how many of the new numbers belong to pretty girls. girls i see around, girls i meet in the line for coffee, girls i want to borrow notes from.
A mutual friend told me that i seem much better off and i totally agree. i don't have any ill will toward her, i think i spend my time and money alot more wisely no and i think i've accomplished alot in the last year.
i don't hate her and i don't like her.
i think i'm totally neutral.
even the whole period of anguish that i went through doesn't have me bothered because i think every experience offers something.
