Then I drove home, got on my bike and cycled the 3 miles to my mate's house for a barbecue, had a few beers and watched the football before cycling home again.
I was back out on the bike again on Sunday, riding around some of the local countryside. It's rather hilly and hard work and we had to walk up a couple of the hills because they were so steep, but it was worth it to get to the top and enjoy the view and see a red kite soaring on the wind just below us:
Now I'm very tired with a very sore eye from hayfever and looking at the computer screen and alcohol consumption are probably not helping the way I feel. Never mind, only 4 more days of work to get through before I wear myself out again next weekend! |
