No where did i say it was right from the very beginning...i'm not backtracking anything and you can rationalize it whatever way you want. If this is how you debate with someone, good riddance.

I speak about how women were treated there and this was your response.

@boobagins Said

Now you are forcing your morals and judgments on to others without understanding the reasoning's.

Looks like you were rationalizing it there to me. My morals and judgment include equal human rights for women, not be treated like animals. Yet your response was to preach to me about not forcing my morals on others and to look into the reasons behind it.

No i asked you if you think its right that we interfered with Afghanistan, you went of into women rights brigade, not me. And yes I did say that, because you called ALL OF THEM SLAVES. I just asked you not to generalize the whole population.

I'm done arguing with you. Good bye!

Military intervention was not the only way to deal with it, and it wasn't the purpose of the invasion in any case.

Yes it's right for two reasons, 911 was planned from there and women needed to be freed But you disagree.

Women's rights didn't come into the Pentagon's cold calculations. If the US government had wanted to improve women's rights in Afghanistan or anywhere else, they could have done so without military intervention.

Of course, this is true. The pandemic is not something Africa can handle on its own, especially when it is so fractured. A problem which transcends political boundaries can only be solved through a concerted effort, but Africa is politically broken as a continent. Other nations around the world will need to make sacrifices to lift Africa out of its dire state, and these sacrifices need not even be so drastic, then some kind of unity and cooperation on the issue of HIV/AIDS might be possible.

Yes I agree with you. I just don't think much progress will happen until the countries within Africa can lean on each other and work together. "But Africa is politically broken as a continent." This is the main thing i see wrong, the lack of collaboration between them. While I don't think they need to form into one big country, inter-country laws etc need to be made for them to rely on each other so that we can help the continent as whole instead of just one area. But its on political stage of turmoil too since many of the country leaders fear that they will loose their position if the let others in.

When I was younger...I wanted to be to Superman to Africa But the political corruption and turmoil is the most disheartening than anything else.

I don't see much difference between a 'superstate' and group of countries with common laws and treaties. I think it would be good for Africa (and everywhere else, for that matter) if there was less sovereignty in the world and more international unity, considering we are in an age of global problems. But I don't think Africa will achieve political unity if left to its own devices.

I like you, we seem to have similar views when we post!

I should probably be superman, since I can never be the president of the U.S, I should become president of superstate Africa!
