Alright. So I saw a petition to not kill baby chicks or whatever and decided to post something I saw a year and half ago. It's about how there are certain companies in China skinning all sorts of animals in China for their fur. They skin them alive because they say it keeps the skin "fresh" or something like that. The petition to end this and all you need to know is on the website.

Here's the link: https://animalsaviors.org/

Warning: The video they have on there is EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO BLOOD/PAIN/etc. I watched it and seriously do not recommend it for sensitive people.

Try and watch it. For one you'll get to see rather than hear all the time.

ah - see in another thread that you are vegan - you have a right not to watch it then. anyone who consumes animal bits should be fine to watch it if they're complicit

somehow i managed a blank post up above..

Um... I'm not a vegan.

You can eat meat and still adore animals and not like to see suffering.
I am a strong advocate against animal abuse and have rescued many cats.

The way I see it, the meat is there. The animal died for it. Why would I waste it? I don't like the idea of what they go through, but in death, there is no more suffering. I bless my food before I eat and thank it for giving it's life.

It's sad yes, but it's life.
Death is a part of life, a sad part, but a part of it no less.
The suffering is optional, I'd like to see the conditions of the animals improve.

Try not to make every meat eater look like a horrible person.

sorry , new to forum and dont know any of the faces , mixed you up with a girl in another thread - i dont see that blessing meat makes the animal happy or wipes away any issue of animal consumption - supposing that there is one.
if you "dont like the idea of what they go through" dont put them through it..

I dont think suffering is optional when animals are products,if you as a being are merely a money making commodity then your comfort is just an unnecessary expense to be incurred.

im not trying to make every meat eater look horrible , all i would try to call anybody out on is consistency
maybe free range cat is something we westerners should consider ?

I don't get your points.
Consistency= free range cat? Is there a demand for it in the West?

There is an answer to this. Hang the perpetrators up and skin them alive. See how they like it!

I honestly can't bear this world at times. Sorry, but I can't click on the link. Animals, like children, are sacrosanct. How can anyone in their right minds hurt them like this?

No.
Free range cat is stringy and tough.
You need cage raised kittens for taste and tenderness.

I don't think the animal died for us or for the meat. I don't think it gave us it's life. I think we just took it.
