Thank you for suggesting this download. A few questions.

1.If I download it where do I save it to?
2. Is it compatible with windows 2000?
3. Once it is donwloaded will it work in conjunction with internet explorer 7.o or replace it?
4. If it will replace it, will it delete my current browser automatically?

You could also try https://www.firefox.com

1. Desktop. After install, you can delete from your desktop.
2. Yes
3. Yes. You can still use either one. It might ask you if you want to change your "default" browser. It's up to you which you want to be the default.
4. It will not delete your current browser.

That said, if you do indeed use Internet explorer 7.0 I'm not sure why you would be having this problem.

Actually it is Internet Explorer 6 Sf1. Does that help?

That's just rather old, and I don't have any computers with that on it which makes it hard to diagnose any problems using TFS in that browser.

fair enough.

I've used this site with no problems until last week - have used that browser & operating system for the last 16 months.

What changes have you made in the last week that would impact on me being able to view my own profile without being logged off? I'm not keen to change or download browsers unless I absolutely need to.

Is it just your profile or on "new topics" forums still?

It's both.

However, once there and unlogged, clicking on some things can 'log' me on again to the forum section of the site.

I can live with it, but what I can't do that I would really like to is view my profile comments and kudos list (I used to use new topics as a cheat click to get to that info) and mainly, i would like to edit my profile but currently cannot.

And to add, when this happens, there is still a green triangle above my name in my profile. So it 'appears' I am online.

Just tried new topics - could not ckicl on anything there to relog myself. Had to re log-on.

kudos list is on homepage.

And I don't know of any way you could get 'logged out' and then 'logged in' automatically by clicking on various things unless you aren't using www.theforumsite.com to access TFS.

if you use theforumsite.com or something else that might be possible.

I tried logging on with what you sugegsted and unfortunately it's made no difference. Clicking on 'profile' under amelie3 in the header takes me straight to my profile - but no friends commenst are visable. It says there that I have to be logged on to see them.

The kudos list and other things used to appear abbreviated on the side of the New Topics page. It was a shortcut to check kudos I found early on last year. Given that I cannot view the new topics page atm without getting logged off, I can't comment on whether it still does.
