I have a little knowlage of html, css, java script, cgi and xhtml. i i really like to make web pages and im teaching myself the interent languages but some of the content of the languages confuse me...

I know there are differances of the format between html and xhtml but is it more benafical to code w/ xhtml?

how to use a cgi progam?

what are the benefits of each languages. Meaning, how each language is most frequently used when building a website...

If anyone knows about any of that and wouldnt mind sharing the knowlege, thanx.

I've read that Php and MySQL programmers are the two most commonly hired/requested programmers. Php is supposedly the most flexible of all the scripting languages, or so I've heard.

Its more beneficial to use HTML, in a round-about sort of way, its more commonly understood. and therefore easier to find help with.

PHP is an awesome language in use with the net... especially when used in conjunction with a database system, like MySQL. There are tons of information about PHP available on the web and tutorials. Definitely, you should consider PHP. It's so cool what all you can do with it.

I think you should take a crash course on Web Design so that you won't have any difficulty about it. This is a new career today because of the growing use of the worldwide web. Tampa Web Design
