HiImDan and MickSkins are both diabetics. I don't know about Mick, but Dan's been a diabetic for most of his life.

Diabetes is the disease of the day it seems. I'm sure there are many diabetics on here. I'm sure I'm a hair's breath away from it myself. D:

I have an ingrained hatred of diabetic chocolate, as a kid vising my gran I was always given bars of it to consune, it was vile. To be fair it has probably come a long way since then cos that was like 25 years ago lol

I was 7 when i got type 1 diabetes, it was a shock to my mum, she thought it would go once i left hospital lol until they gave her an orange to practice injecting lol i only had well controlled diet etc when my mum weighed everything, and everything was pointed. Now i eat what i want including chocolate but i do test my blood regular, if i eat too much i have a bit more insulin, i have never let it rule my life. Oh and ive had 2 children, very closely watched by doc, and 2 cesarians, babies about a month early, and into babie unit, but both well and not diabetic
