I'm bored, almost ready to sleep and found this laughable attempt at projecting their problem onto everyone else. I especially liked the final paragraph.
Evolutionists find themselves in a dilemma when they try to reconcile the population growth curve with their imaginary history of human life. If man has been living on the Earth for a million years or more, then why are there only 6.7 billion people here now? How could population levels be minimal for millions of years and then suddenly explode in the last 2,000 years? Why can we not find any record of human civilization before 5000 B.C.? Why are the earliest forms of writing already extremely advanced? The simple explanation is found in God's Word. Although man was created about 6,000 years ago, the flood caused the population growth curve to effectively reset with only eight people after the flood. Anyone who studies and believes God's Word should conclude that the population is under control. If anything, rising population levels should increase our excitement at the thought of the Lord's return.

Have they never heard of disease, murder, accidents, natural disasters and the supply and demand form of natural population control? The population has had trouble growing because of these reasons but as civilisation and technology become more advanced, we gain new methods of dealing with these things. Reseatch into agriculture allows us to grow enough food to feed a larger population. Increasing knowledge of medicine helps us to combat disease and deal with accidents. Increasing awareness of health and safety mixed with new technology makes us safer (most of the time). All of these things can account for rapid population growth.

As for the comment about no evidence of civilisation before 5,000 BC, in Dr Hovind's own words (in another article), that "is simply ludicrous".

that's hilarious.

as for simple writing, take this example, even though it's not that old, about 4th century or so.
its a irish alphabet written in 'ogham'.

Now you could say this is 'advanced', but how can a script possibly be less advanced?
any type of writing must have at least one symbol to correspond to each syllable or sound a person makes when speaking his language. (speaking came first obviously) That's as simple as it gets unless you use pictures.
There are many examples of this too, cave paintings right through to hieroglyphics.

The evolution of writing is pretty well established.

it is harder to explain a population explosion that happened with in the past 5,000 years. World births have levelled off at about 137-million a year and there are 56 million deaths a year, so thats what 81 million growth a year?
with a breeding population of approx idk 16-40.5 million people having from any where up to 2-5 children. i think that would explain it more than their thoeries
