So I nearly ripped off a b*** and broke my ribs all in one swoop this morning. Still not really sure how I managed to fall on to the fence. I was just trying to block a ball from going over. Next thing I know, I swear, it was like some great hand had lifted me into the air and dropped me on to the fence. It hurts and I'm all pms-y anyway and I keep feeling like crying...which annoys me. Grr.
No. I've just been putting ice on my side and taking Advil. I *hate* going to the dr's so I'm waiting to see if I really need to or not. I think I just bruised all hell out of myself. I have never hurt myself that badly before...and I used to do trick riding. Must be age. Everything hurts more now!!

Just run up to the er... pain meds are much more fun!
I really agree with Mlissa!! Pain meds Pain meds!!! If it hurts like a real sharp pain when you breath in deep you may have done more then bruise a rib. Sorry that happened keep us updated

Once I got myself together a bit, that was the first thing I checked-- if I coudl take a deep breath and I can, thank God. I'm pretty sure there's no cracked ribs. As much as it hurts, I think it would be much worse if I had even a small fracture.

Mel knows what a tennis junkie I am. I'd go more bonkers from not being able to play tennis than I would from a cracked rib!
I jumped on my bed the other day and bruised my a** on the wooden bed frame. We can be awkward injury buddies!
....and I'll be PMSing next week, so how about a date with Ben and Jerry?

A fine pair we are!! Did I mention I did this at the home of a woman I had just met? Not only did it hurt, but I was soooooooo embarrassed!!
And Ben and Jerry's sounds awesome. I can alternate between eating it and holding the container against my side.
