No link yet. Breaking news on CNN.com:

"Gov. Sarah Palin abused her power in a state official's firing but did not violate the law, an Alaska legislative panel finds."

So, on the Republican ticket, you have a Presidential candidate who was officially criticized for poor judgment by the Senate Ethics Committe (and would have likely faced harsher words had his actions been in their jurisdiction), and a Vice Presidential candidate who has now been officially found to have abused her power by her own state's legislature.

They certainly are mavericks, aren't they? Abusing power and officially exercising poor judgment.

i'm suprised obama isn't making more of this stuff,
especially since he's had terrorist association flung at him.
i guess he is taking the higher ground.

Obama has been running an astonishingly clean campaign compared to McCain.

McCain is running ad after ad saying "WHO IS BARACK OBAMA," comparing him to Britney Spears, calling him "dishonorable," misquoting him, directly accusing him of lying, accusing him of being friends with terrorists, etc etc. There have been some negative Obama ads, but nothing like the McCain ads.

i'm glad to see its working for him,
the growing emphasis on negative campaigning is something that has been annoying me for awhile.
no wonder people continuously feel they're voting for the lesser of two evils.

It can be very annoying if that is all you are seeing....and like I said, around here we see it too often.....and it gets old.....makes you ugly when you put someone else down.....IMO

I believe that's what's working for him. The fact that he is taking the higher ground.

I am glad that she finally got called out on having her personal life all over her political one. Its not right to use your power to settle personal vendettas.

I wonder what is going to come of it. I haven't had a chance to watch the news today. (my 2 sons' birthday party is today )

Did u all see the clip where some lady said that she was scared of obama b/c she thought he was arab. McCain had to tell her that wasn't the case. I think that whole situation (like bomb obama) has gotten way out of hand.

if they spent less time on bickering and more time on discussing the economy, the wall street melt down would stop.

Neither of them are going to be President for over 2.5 months.
