If you had a chance to ask them all a question or questions about the issues that bother you, what question or questions would you like to see them answer?

Now this isn't a thread for anyone from either side to do any bashing on. This thread is for the questions you would like to ask the candidates, that are about the issues that you are most concerned about.

I would like to ask each of the candidates...
1. What do you plan to do about the over use of children having to be medicated in this country?
2. What do you plan to do about the schools who say a child needs to be medicated and if a parent doesn't do so, that child gets taken away?

This bugs me to no end. Yes, there are some people who are so messed up, that they do need some type of medication. But it's getting ridiculous that more and more kids are being put on medication for crap they don't even have. It's more like some parents and most schools, don't want to deal with kids being kids, so they prefer to have them loaded up on something that will mess them up for life. Then later on, when the child starts acting weird from the medication, no one can figure out why this could be.

The way things are going with that issue, give it a a few more years and everybody will be a medicated zombie.

Anyway... Your turn!

Why would the President do anything about the overmedication of children?

Because that's the future. Aren't they supposed to do something about the future of America? Make things better for it.

They could indeed do something about the school systems having all of the power over children and what they do and do not need. That's how most of this started, the school systems.

My point is that it's not really in the President's scope of power.

I guess he could recommend some sort of initiative to Congress or something...

What have YOU done about the overmedication of children?

Well yes, that's what I was going for.

I mean, this could only be helped by somebody of higher power. Any regular person I've seen who has tried to fight this, they get nowhere.
