My webcam stopped working

It's not even that old, only a couple of months

It just shows a black screen instead of me, and doesn't always work when I plug it into one of the USB ports.

Argh, now I probably need to buy a new one

Maybe this should have gone in Rants & Raves

Mine did that for a while too. I just restarted the program it used and it usually worked.
