This morning, went fast, and this afternoon has dragged. Im doing the same-ish amount of work, and chatting away, making some coffee, this morning went really quickly this afternoon is going slow....

Isnt it strange the concept of time we have. Where i think its going slow or fast, but its not, its a constant. Unless my computer is a micro black hole or something and time is now slowing down. but i doubt it..

So i always wonder why we humans feel time goes faster or slower??

I find the last hour of work seriously drags. Its like time doubles up and every minute feels like two

Is it because our perception of time is bound up with change. If nothing changed, then time wouldn't be necessary. Everything would be static. From this, I dodgily deduce,if there's not a lot going on our perception of time moves towards that 'static' side, slowing down. But if there's plenty to engage us, it flys by.

C'mon, it was a good effort. A round of applause please

And the perception that the older you get the faster time moves. It really does seem that Christmas gets here faster and faster each year. Of course it doesn't, but sheesh...it's like I blink and I'm back to putting up the tree again.

I think it's cause when we're busy we don't have time to keep looking at the clock, therefore it feels like time is going faster... however if we have nothing to do we keep clock-watching and every minute seems to become slow

Time isn't constant anyway, if you move then your changing the flow of time :o) not by much of course.
