What can you expect, really, when the money spent on education and the sharing of information in the country is less than that spent on disproving the evidence about global warming.
Thats funny! It's funny in that private companies spend money on disproving Global Warming and not the government. See we are not a socially based form of government. We're capitalists. As far as the school systems are concerned yes they are horrible. But your friend Ted Kennedy wrote the current legilation on the current school system.

As for this, go pick up a book and find out what your country has been doing in your name and with your dollars. From "Saving France" from the Nazis - after Pearl Harbour and some 8 million dead Jews - to shaking hands with the president of Indonesia while he committed genocide upon an entire race of people (oh, but their colony was sitting on gas...), to staging a coup to relieve a democratically elected Iranian president in the sixties to install a puppet leader sitting in Sam's pocket, the list goes on. "If the US were half as cruel as some make us out to be..." it still wouldn't even be close to the stuff that sits in sealed vaults all over Washington.
As far as my name goes I have had an ancestor in every war since WW2. Liberating France from the Nazi's was fun and all, but those Jews were really a sight. I would think that someone who has picked up a book would eventually notice that the jews were being murdered and quickly. Mass graves, furnaces where some were burned alive, medical and spiritual experiments were performed. Bags of skin and bone starved and made to work as slaves. America will do what is in the best interest of America. Sorry Bud but Iran has never had a democratically elected official of any kind. And yes I know all about the coup and if things keep up, there may be one over our northern border
naw just kidding. No threat there.

Ahh, that one day my balls might be so brass that I might stand on an aircraft carrier beneath a banner reading "Mission Accomplished" even though more than 1000 Americans were due to die and conflict was about to escalate under said Mission.
Well at least you admire President Bush.
As for that said mission, yes it was accomplished. The mission, in Iraq was to remove Saddam Hussain as a dictator and his regime. A year after war was declared we achieved that very goal.

That I might be able to stand before the people of my country, the deficit breaking records, patriots dying in record numbers and an entire region uniting against my country Because Of Me (!)...
Patiots! But you said that they were victims. They are indeed patriots. The only victims in this war so far have been the Iraqi patriots that have died in their wish for a better Iraq which WE under President Bush have handed them. Turbulent so far yes, but so was my countries beginning. Fist to fight the war for independence then to fail at the first attempt at self governing ourselves and then to nearly be erradicated by the British a second time. Then to present day to be the most hated and feared nation in the world. Canada has never felt so much pain. Nor could it survive so much pain.

...and my earstwhile assistants' moneyhungry plan for global domination and that I might say, standing there that to criticise me during this time is "unpatriotic," or "unnamerican" and that I might further go on to say that we are doing a fine job, a fine, fine job, and that we should all go buy Hummers is a dream at best.
An Unpatriotic and Unamerican person would be a person who rather than do anything for or in his country, runs to Canada. I don't know if you've noticed but cricizim of our president is a welcome and honorable conflict in our country.

Lord, that I never have balls so brass....
Well said! It's not befitting for a Canadian to do something right or to the benefit of another country like liberate multiple billions of people worldwide or send aid to countries in need regardlees of the loss of money and life in his home country. Oh and lets not forget the offer of education to foreign people's.
